On 19 September, we are celebrating two very special occasions: the Swedish AeroPress Championship and the official opening of our new roastery in Falkenberg.
Whether you are passionate about coffee, curious about the competition, or simply looking for a great day with good food, music, and wonderful people, we would love to welcome you.
The Swedish AeroPress Championship
Competitors from across the country will go head-to-head for the title of Swedish AeroPress Champion. The winner will represent Sweden at the World AeroPress Championship in Mexico City this December.
Built around the iconic AeroPress brewer, the championship brings together coffee professionals, home brewers, and enthusiasts to share their creativity and personal approach to brewing.
Competitors brew their own recipes in a knockout format, with each coffee judged anonymously by a panel of judges. The atmosphere is relaxed, playful, and centred around great coffee and community.
The Opening of Our New Roastery
Alongside the championship, we will be opening the doors to our new roastery for the very first time.
This is a space we have been working towards for a long time, and we cannot imagine a better way to celebrate it than together with the people who have supported Swerl along the way.
Once the competition comes to an end, the roastery celebrations will continue into the evening.
