Semilla will be sponsoring the competition coffee, which means that all competitors will be brewing with a coffee sourced through their work.

Semilla exists to represent smallholder coffee producers as they move forward along the value chain - from the periphery to the core - while providing support, connection, and long-term commitment along the way. Their work is deeply rooted in relationships, transparency, and creating more meaningful opportunities for the producers they work with.

At Swerl, we source many of our coffees through different projects initiated by Semilla. If you have ever brewed Jhon Jairo’s Washed Tabi from Colombia or Danilo Sanchez’s Anaerobic Natural lot, those coffees were sourced through Semilla.
