Finally - our first international roastery has made us a visit!  We now move onto Keen Coffee Roasters from Utrecht in the Netherlands - a roastery started by two friends Bonne and Rob with vast experience in coffee and very keen on sharing it with others. Their friendliness matches their coffee very well, and we are excited to feature them. For the month of February we are accompanied by a fellow nordic roaster. FRUKT from Turku in Finland, founded by Samuli Pääkkönen in 2018.  Not only being generally a super nice guy, Samuli is also really driven and quality-focused. 2022 is finally here, with that comes a little hope that life may return to somewhat normal again.  To celebrate new begins, we have partnered up with two new roasters that shows us how being new can mean making things differently, for the better. David Rozali, was born in Yogyakarta (Central Java) and grew up in a small town on the eastern side of Indonesia, called Kupang. Tane Coffee Collective, founded in 2020 in the middle of a pandemic, is a roastery that in its relatively short life has already had to adapt and readapt multiple times. Elbgold, one of the first roasters in Hamburg to roast specialty-coffee as well as trade directly with coffee producers, started already in 2004.
