This coffee is sourced through our friends at La Real Expedición Botanica (laREB), and produced by Luis Aguirre nearby the village of Villahermosa.

It is Luis Aguirre’s first year working with LaREB, and this producer is still a bit of a mystery to them (and to us). He got to know of LaREB through an association meeting for coffee producers that wanted to start with specialty coffee 2023. 

After being part of this meeting, Luis Aguirre decided he wished to pursue this path and sought advice on how to do it : this coffee is the result of it. 

Without any previous experience of producing specialty coffee, it is insane for us that he is producing coffee of such high quality and clarity. 

We hope to be able to continue our collaboration in the future as we cannot wait to see what is in store. 

Luis Aguirre's Caturra-like hybrid is one of the stars in our line-up at the moment, and we hope you will enjoy it as much as us.
