Welcome to the Odd Bean collection. This project started from the idea of wanting to find a home for all the beans in our roastery that are waiting for someone to enjoy them. At the end of every week, we end up with small batches of leftover coffee beans that are carefully packed.
This is one of our ways to pursue a no-waste lifestyle and to give a longer life to the so-called odd beans. <3

Elegant and sweet. Tasting like strawberry jam, canned pineapple and caramelized sugar. Floral hints of chamomile throughout.
This lot is produced by the esteemed producer MateMatiwos in his farm.
MateMatiwos was born in Keramo into a family involved in the coffee trade, and started his own coffee path quite early as he leased land for coffee farming in Keramo and Danche.
He kept on pursuing coffee farming and his hard work is evident as he landed a 2nd place in the 2024 Ethiopian Cup of Excellence last year.
His farm and washing station are an incredible 2300 masl over sea level surrounded by some spectacular views.
This is our second lot of Mate Matiwos as we became captivated by the distinct character of his coffees, that is probably enhanced by the plot where it is cultivated in.
His dedication is felt in the final cup and we are delighted to share this one with you.
