Timemore delivers here a hand grinder in really good quality that will probably stay with you for the rest of your life. Unlike the popular Timemore Slim, here comes big brother Slim Plus with the upgraded grinding wheels that allow you to grind evenly and efficiently for all brewing methods.

We have tested a bunch of different hand grinders on the market and after a few months of using Timemore Slim Plus, we have come to the conclusion that it is probably not possible to find a better grinder in this price range. It has most of the criteria we were looking for:

- Comfortable to hold, ability to grind very quickly without much effort. You can grind about 25 grams of coffee in under 30 seconds.

- Easy to adjust the grinding size and it grinds the beans surprisingly evenly in each adjustment, from the finest setting (eg espresso) up to the coarsest (eg French-Press).

- It is robust, but it is still portable and easy to take on adventures. A bonus is that it fits in an AeroPress.

- Have enough capacity to grind coffee for two to three cups. Holds between 25 and 30 grams, depending on which beans are used.

- Stylish design and built with high quality materials.

In other words, we can proudly recommend this coffee grinder for its high quality and value for money.

The grinding setting is adjusted using a small wheel at the bottom of the grinder.

By turning the wheel, you adjust the grinding wheels closer or further apart. By counting clicks from the finest setting and up, you can adjust your degree of grinding, which gives you plenty of room to play with for different brewing methods. For espresso, about 8 clicks, and for pour-over about 16 clicks. Timemore Slim Plus comes with a cloth bag to keep the grinder safe when you are traveling, a brush for cleaning and a user manual.


The only downside we see with this grinder is that it has a few too less adjustments in the finest spectrum, which means that it does not really suit you who want many adjustment options for espresso.
